Diary of Events for 2012 so far
This year we have organized training days with an emphasis on problem solving and suggesting ways of forging ahead or moving forward or suggestions to throw a new light on those little niggles and annoyances that have been holding you back.......
To this end please have a look at our list and think about which you would like to attend and what you would like from them. When you have decided please let me know (f.veazey@btinternet.com) and I will put you on the list. A 25% deposit will be asked to secure a place if numbers are limited.
4th March Return nosework match against Wessex
11th March Training day with Heather Donnelly.
Heather will recap and follow up with her jump training and do some work on search squares, something she does very well and we do not train for often enough. 10.30 start, cost £20, numbers limited to eight
22nd April Mock UD trial for those of us trying to pluck up courage to enter one!
20th May Training day with Mick Tustain.
Mick has asked participants to come armed with specific problems which he will work on individually whilst encouraging group discussions. 10.30 start, cost £40 (we will reduce this if the course is fully booked), numbers limited to twelve
10th June Bowood Demonstration
Let’s give this one more go, the weather can’t be as bad this time!
17th June Training day with John West.
John will again work on track laying but with a view to training your dog and improving its tracking ability rather than improving your track laying for competition. 10.30 start, cost £20, numbers limited to ten
22nd July Training day with Allyson Tohmé.
Allyson says she would like people to bring specific problems or ask how to get started. “Get people to think about what they want, and how to get it, or why they have a problem.” 10.30 start, cost £20, numbers limited to eight.
